About Us
We are an independent family run business who have been in the print and framing business for over twenty years. We are based in Dublin with our Retail Shop at No 2 Upper Liffey Street,
With our framing workshop in Glenageary South County Dublin. With over fifty years experience in the business there isn’t many aspects we don’t have knowledge on.
Our customers can feel totally confidant in using our online service secure in the knowledge that if they have any problem or query,that we have a high street retail presence and a physical point of contact

Here at Xprint we use only the finest materials available to give your prints a long lasting professional look and feel.All our prints are printed using epsons top of the range 9880 and 7880 wide format digital printers also known as giclee printers .Using epsons specially developed K3 Ultra Chrome Inks tested to a light fast value of 150 years+.Meaning your prints will last a lifetime.
We use 300gsm pearl Satin paper .Which gives your prints a vibrant and true colour look with a lustre sheen,the same used as pro photographers.(This a top of the range paper not to be confused with plain lightwieght photographic paper used by other printers)We also offer a fine art paper perfect for reproducing paintings and artworks details available on request.
All of our canvas prints are printed on 100% cotton artist grade water resistant canvas(not polyester used by some inferior printers)Then hand stretched over custom made 400mm gallery stretcher bars hand cut to fit the specific size of your print(we do not crop your image to fit the bars)We then finish your canvas with a matt sealing varnish to protect it from fading and light scratching .

Frequently Asked Questions
- What formats and file sizes do you accept for upload?
We accept all formats(jpeg,Tiff,GIF,png,pdf,png,psd.)You can upload any size file up to 10 megabytes,any file size larger than that you can email to us at info@xprintcanvas.com .But do remember lager files will take longer.But the bigger the file the better your finished print will be.
2. How long will my print take to arrive?
All enlargements and prints on pearl gloss paper are ready for shipping the day after you submit your order and should be with you in a couple of days.All canvas prints are ready for shipping 2-4 days after we recive your order and should be with you in a couple of days after that.
3. Will you crop out any of my image?
No,we will never crop your image to fit a specific size,unless you instruct us too.Which you can do by leaving us a message in the upload page.
4. How do i take care of my print or canvas?
With all our canvases and prints we add a protective sealing varnish.So all you have to do is take care when handling it.Preferably you should frame pearl gloss paper prints.With canvases they are ready to hang and should be dusted down with a soft dry cloth.
5. What if i don't see the size i would like my image printed to?
If you don't see the size you would like your image printed to for example a panoramoic size,just choose the size closest to what you would like,then leave a message at the upload page as to the exact size you need.
Advice on Photos
Here are some tips for getting the most out of your Enlargements or Photos on canvas.
1.The bigger your file size the better your finished print will be.But dont worry we can enlarge your photo from almost any size,anything from 200kb will be fine,we use special software to enlarge your photos to whatever size you need.
2.Any digital photo taken on a camera above 2 megapixel will be good enough,if you are sending in a photograph which you have scanned try using your scanner's highest setting for best results.
3.Dont worry if your photos have blemishes or are a little faded,we will endeavour to fix them up for you,we shall also remove any red eye that your photos may have.If you have any specific request just leave a message when you uoload your photo and we will sort it out,just about anything is possible.

4.If you are going to select the fulll bleed option for your canvas,make sure you have enough room on the sides of the main subject so we can wrap your image around the edges without encroaching in on the subject matter,this however may not apply to say landscape style shots.

5.If you are going for one of our artistic or pop art styles,your photos should be sharp and well lit,photos from the waste up usuall work best.Here are few examples.
